A platform for deposits in residential construction.
The idea came from the second co-founder — a builder who kept running into buyers’ deposits being frozen for the whole construction and paperwork period. The solution: replace the deposit with an insurance policy. My job was to turn that into a technical tool — simple and usable for the builder, the buyer, and the agent running the deal.
We built a portal on AWS with personal cabinets for all three sides, structured documentation, and transparency at every stage of the deal. We added an AI layer — an assistant for document analysis and deal guidance.
